⚙️ Sentinel Bot Installation
In this section you will learn how to invite Sentinel Bot to your Discord server. It's a very simple process that takes less than 2 minutes.
📝 Step 1: Get the invitation link
Go to the Sentinel web panel
Open your browser and go to: https://sentinelbot.biz
Log in with Discord
Click the "Log in with Discord" button and authorize the application.
What does this mean? The bot needs to know which servers you manage to help you. Don't worry, it's safe.
Go to Dashboard
Once logged in, you'll see a list of your servers. Find the server where you want to add the bot.
🤖 Step 2: Invite the bot to the server
Click "Invite Bot"
If the bot is not in your server, you'll see a green button that says "+ Invite Bot". Click it.
Authorize permissions
Discord will show you a page asking for permissions. It's important that the bot has these permissions:
- ✅ Administrator - To be able to manage everything
- ✅ Manage Channels - To protect channels
- ✅ Manage Roles - To assign verification roles
- ✅ Kick Members - To kick malicious users
- ✅ Ban Members - To ban dangerous users
- ✅ Manage Messages - To delete spam
Select your server
In the dropdown menu, select the server where you want to add the bot and click "Authorize".
✅ Step 3: Verify installation
Return to Dashboard
After authorizing, return to https://sentinelbot.biz and refresh the page. Your server should now appear in the "🛡️ Protected Servers" section.
Verify in Discord
Open Discord and go to your server. In the member list (right side), you should see "Sentinel Bot" online.
Suppose that: Your server has 50 members. After inviting the bot, you should see 51 members (the 50 original + Sentinel Bot).
🎯 What's next?
Congratulations! The bot is now in your server. But it's not yet configured to protect. You need to:
- Configure the bot - Tell it how you want it to protect your server
- Activate protections - Turn on the anti-raid system, verification, etc.
- Test that it works - Make sure everything is properly configured
The bot is in your server. Now go to the Initial Configuration section to start protecting your server.
❓ Common Problems
The bot doesn't appear in my server
Possible causes:
- You didn't complete the authorization process - Try again from the dashboard
- The bot is offline - Wait a few minutes and check again
- You don't have administrator permissions - You need to be admin to invite bots
The bot appears but doesn't respond to commands
This is normal. The bot needs to be configured first. Go to the Initial Configuration section.
I don't see the "Invite Bot" button
Possible causes:
- The bot is already in your server - Look in the member list
- You don't have administrator permissions on that server
- You didn't log in correctly - Log out and log in again
